7.0 TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Solution

Cylinder will not advance • No oil or too low oil level in pump.

Refill reservoir.

• Pump release valve open. Close pump valve.

• Couplers not completely connected.

Check hydraulic line.

• Hydraulic line clogged or contaminated. Check

hydraulic line. Install high-pressure filtration.

Cylinder leaks oil • Worn or damaged plunger. Contact your

Enerpac Authorized Warranty Station.

• Internal seals damaged. Contact your Enerpac

Authorized Warranty Station.

• Leaking or loose oil connections.

Cylinder will not retract • Pump release valve closed. Open this valve.

• Couplers not completely connected.

Check hydraulic line.

• Broken spring. Contact your Enerpac Authorized

Warranty Station.
