Enphase has developed IQ Series microinverters (IQ7/IQ7PLUS/IQ7A) that has integrated
MC4 DC connectors. This eliminates the need for adapter cables - thereby
increasing the ease of installation
Enphase recommends submitting Enphase Microinverter model numbers on permits and plansets using
the following model designation -x in place of either the “-2” or “-M”, and adding “where x = 2 or M”.
Example: Model Number: "IQ7-60-x-US” or “IQ7PLUS-72-x-US" where x = 2 or M
