Thermoplastic enclosures

Ensto Cubo thermoplastic enclosures are manufactured in high-quality halogen-

free and recyclable polycarbonate or ABS plastics. Although plastic is much lighter

than steel, it has very high impact-resistance. In addition, any dents or bumps are

not as noticeable in plastic as they would be with steel. Both machining and main-

tenance of our thermoplastic enclosures is easy, and no special tools are needed.

Benets of using our solutions

Greater material thickness

Our thermoplastic enclosures have a greater material thickness

than similar products in the market. This aids in such operations

as the machining of threads and usage of push buttons, as the

material is more rigid.

Cost-ecient mold modications

We have a modular tooling structure that enables cost-ecient

modication of molds. This brings special cost-eectiveness to

making of customer-specic holes and cutouts in a large series

of enclosures. It also eliminates the risk for machining errors.

Lightweight products

The enclosures are low in weight, which brings cost savings to

their transportation and makes installation easier.

Durability and easy maintenance

Thanks to the properties of plastics, Ensto enclosures are corrosion-

free, and they are easy to maintain and clean, since there is no need

for repainting – even if they have become scratched. The use of non-

conductive material also improves the safety of your operations.

Fibreglass-reinforced bases

The bases of our enclosures with knockouts are reinforced with

breglass, increasing the rigidity of the enclosure walls and

making it easier to knock out the cable entries.
