Materials comparison

Thermoplastics

Our product range comprises enclosing solutions made

from thermoplastics, polyester and aluminium. Below,

we compare the various materials for their individual

advantages and disadvantages.

Ensto Cubo thermoplastic enclosures are manufac-

tured in high-quality halogen-free and recyclable

polycarbonate or ABS plastics. Although plastic is

much lighter than steel, it still has very high impact-

resistance. In addition, any dents or bumps are not

as noticeable with plastic as they would be with steel.

For the maintenance of these enclosures, cleaning

with a mild detergent is recommended.
