Glass-reinforced polyester shows superb resistance

to even extreme temperatures. It has high corrosion-

resistance and is very resistant to solvents.

Polyester is more expensive than polycarbonate

and ABS. Since enclosures made from this material

are dicult to machine, we recommend that you

let us customize them for you. In work on polyester

enclosures, it is important that you use an anti-dust

respirator lter.

The relative weight of aluminium is only about a

quarter the weight of steel. Aluminium is, however,

more expensive than steel. It has high impact-

resistance, a wide temperature-resistance range and

excellent corrosion-resistance.
