90 Troubleshooting
Printer Messages
The following messages indicate a condition in the printer.
Close and lock doors
A secure door is physically unlocked on the system.
1. Gently try to open all secure doors on the system.
2. Close any open door and lock the printer using the key.
100: Request not supported
The printer does not support the personalization being requested for the card. The card will be
canceled.
Change the card data to match the printer’s options and settings, or print to a printer that is
configured to support the personalization being requested.
Press the U
SER button on the printer, or click OK on the PC, to clear the message.
Send the card again.
103: Printer problem
The printer had an error. The card will be canceled.
1. Press the printer P
OWER button to power off the printer.
2. Press the P
OWER button again to power on the printer.
Click OK on the PC to clear the message.
104: Critical problem
The printer had a serious error. The card will be canceled.
1. Press the printer POWER button to power off the printer.
2. Request service.
The system must remain powered off.
Click OK on the PC to clear the message.
