5. Replace the cards in the input hopper of a single-hopper printer, or the H2 cartridge of a
multi-hopper printer. Refer to “Load Cards” on page 31.
6. Lock the printer, if necessary.
7. Press the U
SER button to return the printer to Ready and
make it available to print cards again.
8. Discard the used cleaning card and cleaning sleeve.
HINTS & TIPS
 Use each cleaning card one time only.
 Replace the cleaning sleeve, as needed. Refer to the “Printer Cleaning Schedule” on page 46
for the replacement schedule.
If the card light is blinking amber and there are cards in the input hopper, the printer’s
configured cleaning count has been reached and it is time to clean the printer. The
number of cards between cleaning is set in the Printer Manager FrontPanel settings.
