SSKNodes
RFTS900 nodes are used in conjunction with the Sontay® RFRXSS receiver, RFPS500 routers and RFHHT
handheldmonitor.
Data is transmitted back to the receiver every 30 seconds. Each sensor retains these configurations if the
batterybecomesdischargedorrequiresreplacement.
NB‐To preserve battery life, an SSK node will automatically go offline after approximately 4 hours if not
powercycled.
TochargethebatteryinanSSKnode,connectthecorrectchargertothesocketonthebackplate.Thestatus
LEDonthechargerwillshowreduntil
thebatteryisfullycharged,whenthestatusLEDwillturngreen.
TopoweranSSKnode,thebatterymustbeconnectedandtheOn/Offrockerswitchonthebackplateshould
beswitchedtotheOnposition.Toswitchoff,theOn/Offrockerswitchonthebackplateshouldbeswitched
to
theOffposition.Refertodatasheet.
Thesensorsautomaticallyfindthebestpathbacktothereceiver,whichmaybedirectlytothereceiverorvia
“parent”routers.
