Instructions / Assembly

v04/16
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PLEASE READ FIRST!
In the event that the sprayer nozzle tip becomes
obstructed simply remove it, rinse it with water and re-
attach it. Some sprayers contain a filter on the pickup
hose in the bottom of the container, if this becomes
clogged, either remove it and rinse it, or remove it
entirely.
Finishing the job
With the application complete you’re almost done.
Check for any over-spray of objects that have
unintentionally come in contact with EnviroColor. It
can be removed with water if rinsed immediately after
spraying, or for tougher stains, use Krud Kutter, Simple
Green, Gojo or another similar cleaner to remove
stains. EnviroColor should be allowed to 3-4 hours to
dry before walking on any treated areas or allowing
pets, or children to enter those areas. 24 hours is
necessary for EnviroColor to completely cure on to the
surface on pine straw, mulch or turf.
Cleaning up
With the job complete it's time to clean up your sprayer
before it has time to dry. You'll want to empty any
remaining contents inside the sprayer onto an area that
won't be negatively impacted by exposure to the
concentrate. With your sprayer now empty rinse it
clean with water thoroughly until all of the concentrate
has been removed from the reservoir.
Next you'll want to fill your clean sprayer with clean
water and secure the lid. Pressurize the sprayer and
pull the trigger to allow the clean water to flow through
the nozzle. Ensuring that the wand and nozzle tip is
well rinsed will prolong the life of your sprayer leaving
it ready for use in the future.
Touch ups
EnviroColor is perfect for areas that simply need a
touch up and can be used as often as you like to
achieve the color you desire. Just remember to follow
these simple steps to ensure perfect results every
time.
Storage of unused concentrate
EnviroColor can be stored for an extended period of
time. Ensure that the cap is tight, and don’t allow the
concentrate to freeze. Before your next use, be sure to
shake the concentrate very well.

Helpful Hints
Sprayer Filters
Occasionally pump sprayers will have filters on the
supply tube in the reservoir which can hinder spraying.
We recommend removing or cleaning that filter prior to
mixing to ensure nothing hampers the flow.
Rain/Water
Please keep an eye on the weather before applying
EnviroColor. Our concentrates MUST have ample time
to completely dry before they are exposed to rain or
water of any kind to ensure the longest lasting results.
It’s always best to error on the side of caution and not
apply EnviroColor until you have a window of 24 hours
dry weather. Sprinkler systems should be disabled for a
minimum of 24 hours. Heavy dew or high humidity will
extend drying time and reduce color adhesion and
lifespan.
Coverage & Color Density
To ensure you get the proper coverage from
EnviroColor please carefully follow the mixing
instructions. It is always best to apply the concentrates
as per label instructions and to allow the application to
dry completely. If a lighter color is desired, use more
water in the mixture; if a darker color is desired, a
second application can be made using the same
concentration. A second application for darker color is
not included in the expected coverage. Increasing the
amount of concentrate, or reducing the amount of
water will lead to extended drying time, greater
likelihood of sprayer clogs and reduced coverage.
Raw/green wood chips
Please ensure that raw, never colored mulch is allowed
ample time to dry out or “season” prior to applying
EnviroColor. This process can take months. New chips
or wood chipper mulch contain a very high moisture
content which will prevent EnviroColor from curing
completely. It is always best to allow new/green mulch
to “season” or dry until it turns gray or the individual
fibers of the chips become visible applying
EnviroColor to new/green mulch that hasn’t been
afforded ample time to dry will result in less than
desirable results.
