INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read carefully and save these instructions. Failure to

do so may lead to electrical shock or fire, which may cause

injury or death.

CAUTION

WARNING – RISK OF FIRE: Turn off the main power at the

circuit breaker before installing the fixture, changing lamps,

or performing other maintenance in order to prevent possible

shock.

GENERAL

All electrical connections must be in accordance with local,

and national electrical codes.

Prior to installation it is important to follow the following

guidelines:

A. Use only the type of light bulb specified, with

wattage not greater than specified on the

wattage label found on the fixture.

B. Remove all protective plastic film covering from

the fixture.

Tools needed for installation: Phillips screwdriver, pliers.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

1. Squeeze the cover along the fixture to remove the cover. (Fig. 1)

2. Select the desired installation location. Mark the location of the

keyhole slots of the fixture onto the ceiling. Remove the fixture

from the ceiling.

3. Slide in the semi-circular junction box covers on the back of the

fixture until they snap on securely. (Fig. 2)

4. Drill a 1/4 in. hole at the narrow end of each keyhole slot marking

on the ceiling. Use screws designed for the mounting surface

selected (ceiling anchors may be needed).

5. Place the fixture over the outlet box and feed the screws through

the keyhole slots. Slide the fixture so that the screws slide into

the narrow ends of the keyhole slots. Tighten the screws so that

the fixture is secured flush against the ceiling. (Fig. 3)

6. Pull the power supply wires out from the

outlet box. Connect the black supply

wire to the black fixture wire using a

wire nut. Connect the white supply

wire to the white fixture wire using a

wire nut. Connect the fixture ground

wire and the supply ground wire

together using a wire nut. Wrap all wire

connections with electrical tape for a

more secure connection. (Fig 4)

7. Snap the cover back onto the fixture.

8. To install the tube lamp, guide the pins

on one end of the lamp into one

socket. Guide the other end of the tube

into the opposite socket. Rotate the

tube 90° (1/4 turn) in either direction

until seated. Be sure to connect the

power side of the lamp to the side of the

tube labeled “LN”. (Fig. 5)
