Operation Installing the batteries The radio uses 2 x 1.5V batteries (not included). Please insert the new batteries in the battery slot according to the polarity. If the sound or volume is faint, please replace with new batteries.
Attention Do not use new and old batteries together. In order to prevent the leakage of electrolysis liquid or danger of explosion do not charge or heat the batteries. Alarm Function Keep the radio in TIME MODE after setting the alarm time. Turn on the Alarm Function by pressing the ALARM KEY once, and a symbol appears on the display. When the Alarm Function is on, the radio will automatically play accordingly to the set alarm time. Turn off the Alarm Function by pressing the ALARM KEY once, and the symbol disappears from the screen.
Other Functions Tone Switch The Tone Switch is set in the radio. You can select different tones HI/LOW. Troubleshooting Problem: Why does it sometimes sound like the radio station is jammed? Solution: The MW and SW frequencies are strongly jammed by TV sets, fluorescent lamps, silicon controlled table lamps, computers, motors etc. When using the radio please keep a certain distance from the mentioned electrical equipments.
