Perform a factory reset
Use the Admin panel to perform a factory reset and restore the configuration of your Pearl-2 to the
manufacturer's original default settings.
Performing a factory reset erases all your input port settings (video and audio), channels,
configuration presets, network settings, all locally saved media files and recordings from Pearl-2.
Consider applying a factory default configuration preset instead if you want to preserve the
uploaded media files, configuration presets, and channel recordings, see Configuration presets.
To perform a factory reset:
1. Login to the Admin panel as admin, see Connect to the Admin panel.
2. From the Configuration menu, select Maintenance. The maintenance page opens.
3. Click the Reset and click OK when prompted.
4. The system resets to factory defaults and reboots. Wait for the system to finish rebooting before
configuring Pearl-2.
