The Control Panel 127
EJECT ROLLER
You can select AUTO, SHEET, ROLL CURLED, or ROLL NORMAL.
DRYING TIME
You can set the ink drying time between each print head pass. The range is
from 0 to 10 seconds.
SUCTION
You can set the suction pressure used to feed the paper. Select STANDARD, -1,
-2, -3, or -4.
M/W ADJ
You can adjust the MicroWeave mode. The settings are STANDARD, 1 and 2.
Increase the value to give priority to print speed, or decrease it to give priority
to print quality.
AUTO The printer selects the most appropriate setting
automatically. When you use Epson media, usually
select this setting.
SHEET If you want to print on cut sheet paper that is not Epson
media, select this setting.
ROLL CURLED If you want to print on strongly curled roll paper that is
not Epson media, select this setting.
Note:
Make sure that the ink is dry enough on the paper
before the roller touches the media; otherwise, the ink
will soil the roller surface, which stamps on the prints.
ROLL NORMAL If you want to print on roll paper that is non-Epson
media, select this setting. When roll paper is selected
for the printer, this parameter is selected and no feed
roller is used. If you select this parameter while using cut
sheets, you need to eject the cut sheet paper one by
one.
