Note:
When the computer is o, the printer temporarily saves the received documents in its memory. If the memory becomes
full, the printer cannot send or receive faxes.
Save to External Device:
Converts received documents into PDF format and saves them to a memory device, such as a memory card
or USB ash drive, connected to the printer. Once the received documents are saved to the memory device,
they are deleted from the printer. To print the documents automatically while saving them to the memory
device, select Yes then Print on the printer.
Before using this feature, you need to create a folder on the memory device in which received documents
are saved. Select Create Folder to Save, and then create a folder.
Note:
Make sure the memory device is connected to the printer. If the device is not connected, sending and receiving faxes may
become impossible due to a memory full error because the printer temporarily saves the received documents while the
device is disconnected.

Checking Received Faxes on the LCD Screen
You can check received documents saved in the printer's inbox on the LCD screen.
1. When there are new faxes, a notication message is displayed on the home screen. Press Open Inbox. Or enter
Fax on the home screen, and then select Advanced Options > Open Inbox.
Note:
When there are unread or unprinted documents, the
icon lights up on the home screen. To check the number of
unread or unprinted documents and the memory usage, press this icon.
2. Select the fax you want to view from the received documents list.
Note:
Press Menu on the list screen to print or delete all of the received documents at once.
3. Check the received documents.
: Rotates the image to the right by 90 degrees.
: Moves the screen in the direction of the arrows.
: Reduces or enlarges.
: Moves to the previous or the next page.
x
: Displays the menus for printing and deleting.
x
: Starts printing.
Note:
e printer cannot receive and send faxes when the memory is full. We recommend deleting viewed or printed
documents.
