Setting a Password and Locking the Control Panel

You can set an administrator password to lock the System Administration Setup settings. You must enter

the password to access any of the locked settings.

Note: For more information on administration settings, see the Administrator's Guide.

1. From the Home screen, select Settings and press the OK button.

You see a screen like this:

2. Press the down arrow button, select Admin Settings, and press the OK button.

3. Select Admin Password and press the OK button.

4. Select Register and press the OK button.

You see a screen like this:

5. Use the control panel buttons to enter a password and press the OK button.

6. Enter your password again to confirm, and press the OK button.

7. Press the OK button.
