3.2.3.10 Fusing Unit Disassembly
This section describes how to remove the paper exit sensor, heater lamp, cleaning, lower fusing
roller, and upper fusing roller.
1. Remove the fusing unit. (Refer to Section 3.2.3.9.)
2. Remove the paper exit sensor.
3. Remove 2 CC screws (M3 x 6) for the side covers, and remove the side covers.

Do not touch the glass sutface of the lamp with your bare hands.

4. Remove 2 CC screws (M3 x 6) on the heater lamp support plate, and remove the heater lamp
support plate.
5. Remove the heater lamp.

Be careful not to scratch the surface of the upper fising roller.
6. Remove 2 CC screws (M3 x 6) on the guide plate, and remove the guide plate.
7. Remove 2 springs and 2 bushings on the lower fusing roller, and remove the lower fusing
roller.
8. Remove 2 C-rings and 2 bushings on the upper fusing roller, and remove the upper fusing
roller.
