Underlining
The underline mode provides an automatic way of fully underlining
any piece
of text. Thimnode urdeh spaces, superscripts, and
subscripts without a break. Most word processors take advantage of
this feature, but
.some programs use the underline character *stead.

Superscripts and subscripts
Superscripts and subscripts can be used for printing footnote
numbers and mathematical formulas. The example below ‘shows
underlining and subscripts combined in a mathematical formula.
