Using the Co
mmand Summary
This chapter lists and describes all the commands available on the
DFX-8000. This chapter includes the commands available in both
Epson ESC/P mode and IBM emulation mode.
Note: Epson ESC/P mode is selected when DIP switch
l-4 is turned
off. To select IBM emulation mode, turn on DIP switch l-4.
The first part of this chapter lists, all commands in numerical order
and gives the number of the page where each is fully described. If
you know which command you are looking for, consult the
numerical list.
Note: The Quick Reference card at the end of this manual also
Iists the commands by topic with page numbers that ,direct you to
full explanations of the commands, The numerical list and the
Quick Reference card indicate which commands work differently
in Epson
ESC/P mode and IBM emulation mode.
The second part of this chapter describes the commands available in
Epson
ESC/P mode and the third part of this chapter describes the
commands available in IBM emulation mode. These sections list and
describe each command separately. The commands are divided into
