PROCEDURE
Turn off the projector's power, wait until the "pip-pip"
confirmation buzzer sounds, and then disconnect the
power cable.
Wait until the lamp has cooled down, then remove the
lamp cover from the base of the projector.
It takes approximately one hour for the lamp to cool down by
itself after the cool-down period has finished.
While pressing the two hooks, pull the lamp cover up to
remove it.
Loosen the two lamp fixing screws.
Loosen the two lamp fixing screws with the screwdriver that is
supplied with the spare lamp (or your own cross head
screwdriver).
Replacing the Lamp
CAUTION
•If you are replacing the lamp because it has stopped working, it is
possible that the lamp is broken.
If replacing the lamp of a projector which has been installed on the
ceiling, you should always assume that the lamp is broken and
handle it with extreme care during removal. Furthermore, you
should stand to the side of the projector, not underneath it.
•Wait until the lamp has cooled down sufficiently before removing the
lamp cover. It takes a further one hour after the power has been
turned off for the lamp to be cool enough.
