If
you
are
leaving
the
drive
bay
empty,
replace
the
metal
cover
and
two
retaining
screws,
as
shown
below.

If
you
are
replacing
the
drive
you
removed
with
another
drive,
remove
the
guiderails
and
screws
from
the
drive
and
use
them
to
install
the
other
drive
as
described
in
“Installing
a
Drive
in a
Horizontal
Bay” on
page
5-16.
5.
Wrap
the
drive
in
its
original
packing
materials
and
store
it
in a
safe
place.
6.
If
you
removed
your
computer’s
only
hard
disk
drive,
disconnect
the
hard
disk
drive
ribbon
cable
from
the
system
board
and
store
it as
well.
If
you
removed
one
hard
disk
drive
and
are
leaving
another
one
in
the
computer,
you
need
to
set
the
jumpers
on
the
remaining
drive
to
indicate
that
you
now
have
only
one
hard
disk
drive.

correct
