Installing and Removing Options
You
can
enhance
the
performance
of your
computer
by
adding
optional
equipment
such
as
memory
modules,
ISA
or
VL-Bus
option
cards,
or
a
microprocessor
upgrade.
This
chapter
describes
how
to
install
and
remove
these
options,
as
well
as
how
to
change
the
jumper
and
DIP
switch
settings
inside
the
computer.
You
may
need
to
change
these
settings
if
you
install
options
or
if you
want
to
change
the
way
your
system
operates.
