Removing a Hard

Disk

From the Vertical

Bay

Follow

these

steps

to

remove

a

hard

disk

drive

from

the

vertical

drive

bay:

1.

Disconnect

the

hard

disk

drive

ribbon

cable

and

power

supply

cable

from

the

back

of

the

drive,

as

shown

below.

Grasp

the

cable

connectors

and

pull

them

straight

out

from

the

connectors

on

the

hard

disk

drive

so

you

do

not

bend

the

pins;

do

not

pull

on

the

cables.
