Replacing Consumable Products
You must replace the following consumable products
when a notice message appears on the LCD panel or in
the EPSON Status Monitor 3 utility.
Replacing a toner cartridge
1. Confirm the color of the toner cartridge that needs
to be replaced by checking the LCD panel.
2. Open the front cover.
3. See which color currently appears in the cartridge
installation window.
If you can see the color that you need to replace, go
to step 5.
If you see a different color, go to the next step.
4. There is a switch located at the upper left. Push it
up, then release it. Turn the round knob located just
above the installation window clockwise until it
stops. The switch drops down to the lower position
automatically and the next cartridge slot appears
in the installation window. Repeat this step until
the cartridge that you want to replace appears.
Note:
If the knob cannot be turned, check if the switch is up.
Do not turn the knob by force.
