The Control Panel 109
Lights
The lights show the printer’s status and indicate errors.
If all the lights are flashing, the printer needs service. Contact your dealer or
Epson for assistance. See "Where To Get Help" on page 229.
Light Description
pause light solid
green
The printer is in pause mode.
pause light flashing
green
The printer is printing.
The printer is cleaning the print head.
The printer is drying ink on the printed paper.
pause light off The printer is ready to print data.
B ink light solid red The installed ink cartridge is expended.
The installed ink cartridges cannot be used with
this printer.
The maintenance tank is full.
B ink light flashing red The installed ink cartridge is low.
The maintenance tank is almost full.
paper light solid red No paper is loaded in the paper tray when
Sheet is selected as the paper source. Roll paper
is out when Roll Auto Cut On or Roll Auto
Cut Off is selected as the paper source.
The selected paper source ( Roll Auto Cut On
/ Roll Auto Cut Off / Sheet) does not match
the paper source in the printer driver.
The paper lever is in the released position.
The loaded paper is too thick for head cleaning.
paper light flashing
red
Paper is jammed.
Paper is not cut correctly after the print job when
Roll Auto Cut On is selected as the paper
source.
Paper is not loaded straight.
Paper is not detected.
Cut sheet paper was not ejected correctly.
