Could your software be causing the problem? If you are

The problem could be caused by your keyboard. See
“Keyboard Problems,” later in this appendix.
If you want to stop whatever the computer is doing and
return to the MS-DOS command prompt. hold down the
m key and press m (or press a. See Chapter 1 for
more information on stopping a command or program.
If your computer still does not respond, you can reset
it using the [cbl) J~Jl~J command or the RESET
button. See “Resetting Your Computer” in Chapter 1 for
more information.
If resetting the computer does not work, turn it off and
wait at least five seconds. If you do not have a hard disk
drive, insert the system or Reference diskette in drive A.
Then turn on the computer. It should load your operating
system.
If you installed a display adapter card in your computer,
and you want to use that adapter as your primary display
adapter, you need to change the setting of jumper J1 on
the main system board to disable the built-in VGA
adapter. If you have not set the jumper, you will not see
any display on the screen. You may also need to set jumper

instructions.
