Using the Control Panel
You can control simple printer operations—such as line feeding,
form feeding, loading and ejecting paper, and selecting fonts—
with the buttons on the control panel. The control panel lights
show the printer’s status and the current font.
Lights and buttons
Pause light
When the orange Pause light is on, the printer is in pause
mode and cannot print. To print, press the Pause button. The
Pause light turns off. To enter the micro adjust mode, hold
down the Pause button for three seconds. The Pause light
will flash, indicating the printer is in micro adjust mode.
Pause button
Press the Pause button to stop the printer temporarily during
printing or the self test. Press it again to resume activity. To
enter the micro adjust mode, hold down the Pause button for
three seconds. The Pause light will flash, indicating the
printer is in micro adjust mode.
Paper Out light
The Paper Out light turns on when there is no paper in the
printer.
