Since all character pitches are mutually exclusive, this pitch will be “turned-off” if
another pitch command is received.
10 CPI is the factory default for character pitch.
This commands will not cancel double width mode.
10 CPI and compress = 17.1 CPI.

(c) Function:
Select 10 CPI character pitch which positions each dot column of the character 1/
120 inch apart.
(d) Additional details:
Since all character pitches are mutually exclusive, this pitch will be “turned-off” if
another pitch command is received.
This command will not cancel the double width mode.
