Connecting to a Computer
You can connect the projector to any computer that has a standard
video output (monitor) port, including desktop models, PC notebook
computers, Macintosh PowerBook
®
and iBook
®
computers, and
hand-held devices.
To play sound through the projector, connect an audio cable (see
page 28).
You can connect to the projector using a VGA computer cable.
1. Connect one end of a VGA computer cable to the projector’s
Computer (Component Video) port and the other end to your
computer’s monitor port.
2. You may need to change the Input Signal setting in the
projector’s Signal menu to
RGB or Auto (see page 50).
3. You can connect an optional audio cable to play sound through
the projector (see page 28).
When you’ve finished making connections, see page 30 for
instructions on turning on the projector and Chapter 2 for
instructions on displaying and adjusting the image.

Don’t try to force a
connector to fit a port with a
different shape or number of
pins. You may damage the
port or connector.
