1.10 Ex-factory Setting
With a special setting mode, the setting of camera is changeable depending on the
destination as well as PhotoPC 3000Z. The setting is the same as that for PhotoPC
3000Z.
1.10.1 Change process of camera setting
Proceed the setting for the following destinations.
(The default setting for the foreign country models is: language=English,
Video=NTSC)
NOTE: variable factors depending on the product revision and the timing of ex-
factory.
Check the followings before the change of destination.
Set the dial switch at the “SETup” position.
Remove the CompactFlash (CF) card from the camera.
CHANGE PROCESS A : CHANGE INTO THE NTSC / ENG SETTING
WITHOUT CHINESE INDICATION.
1. Push POWER button (the center of dial button) to turn the power on while pushing
(Flash) button.
2. Confirm that the “NTSC / TWN” is indicated at the lower left of screen, then push
POWER button again to turn the power off.
CHANGE PROCESS B : CHANGE INTO THE PAL / NO LANGUAGE
SETTING.
Start from the language selection menu at the initial power on process.
1. Push POWER button (the center of dial button) to turn the power on while pushing
(Self timer) button.
2. Confirm that the “PAL / SEL” is indicated at the lower left of screen, then push
POWER button again to turn the power off.
NOTE: If the display is switched into the language / video selection mode screen
after proceeding the change process B, turn the power off without
pushing the “BACK”.
RETURN TO THE EX-FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING
In case of failure in changing the setting, it would be necessary to return to the ex-
factory default setting. Push POWER button (the center of dial button) to turn the
power on again while pushing (Image quality) button to return to the ex-factory
default setting.
