Print From Folder
Function Summary
You can select a file in a shared folder on the network
that has been setup in advance and print it.
Use Remote Manager to configure the shared folder
settings.

Operation
There are two procedures to select a file and print it.
You can use the control panel on the printer or use
Remote Manager.

Supported files
The following files are supported by Print From Folder.
The supported files vary depending on whether or not
the optional Adobe PostScript 3 expansion unit is
installed.
HP-GL/2 and HP RTL format files are printed
according to the HP-GL/2 Settings in the printer's
settings menu.

The other files are printed according to the settings in
the PS3 Expansion Unit in the printer's settings menu.

Preparing to Print From
Folder
Use Remote Manager to configure the shared folder
settings as shown below.
Remote Manager is included in the software installed
in the network interface of the printer.

Start a web browser on a tablet terminal or
computer connected to the printer via the
network.

Enter the IP address specified for the printer in
the address bar, and then press the Enter key or
the return key.
If any of the following options is installed,
proceed to step 3.
O MFP scanner
O Hard disk unit
O Adobe PostScript 3 expansion unit
If they are not installed, proceed to step 4.

In the screen that is displayed, click Remote
Manager.

Open the Setup tab screen, and then click
Shared Folder in the menu on the left side of the
screen.
