4.2.5 TRAY, ABSORBER ASSEMBLY Removal

1. Remove HOUSING. (Refer to Section 4.2.1.)

2. Remove the Panel Unit. (Refer to Section 4.2.3.)

3. Remove the two screws (CBS, 3x6) securing HOUSING, PANEL, LEFT

to the front left part of the printer mechanism.

4. Remove the one screw (CBP, 3x8) securing HOUSING, PANEL, LEFT to

the HOUSING, SUB, LEFT.

5. Release the pin fixing HOUSING, PANEL, LEFT to the printer

mechanism, and then remove HOUSING, PANEL, LEFT toward the

front.

6. Remove the two screws (CBS, 3x6) securing HOUSING, SUB, LEFT to

the printer mechanism.

7. Release the three hooks (two at the bottom and one in the front) fixing

HOUSING, SUB, LEFT to the printer mechanism, and remove

HOUSING, SUB, LEFT.

8. Remove the one screw (CBP, 3x6) securing PAPER GUIDE, LOWER to

TRAY, ABSORBER ASSEMBLY at the middle of the printer

mechanism, and then remove PAPER GUIDE, LOWER.

CAUTION

When removing HOUSING, PANEL, LEFT, watch out for the

Stacker Assembly. Since the Stacker Assembly is fixed by

the Panel Unit and HOUSING, PANEL, LEFT, it will come off

as HOUSING, PANEL, LEFT is removed.
