Paper Skew Check
On This setting is effective for roll paper only.
Select whether to display (On) or not to display (Off) an error
message on the control panel's screen and whether or not stop
printing if the paper is not straight.
We recommend using On, because if the paper is not fed straight, a
paper jam could occur.

Refresh Margin
On This setting is effective for roll paper only.
After printing borderless on all edges, select whether to cut
automatically (On) or not to cut (Off) the leading edge of the paper
to remove any marks which may have been left in preparation for
the next job when printing with margins.
When the optional SpectroProofer is installed, this setting is
automatically set to Off and is not displayed in the Menu.

Auto Nozzle Check
On:Periodically Select the timing for the auto nozzle check.
When On:Periodically is set, Auto Nozzle Check is carried out
according to the timing determined by the printer.
When On:Every Job is set, Auto Nozzle Check is carried out before
printing each job.

Print Nozzle Pattern
Off This setting is effective for roll paper only.
Select whether to print (On) or not to print (Off) the nozzle check
pattern. When set to On, a nozzle check pattern is printed on the
leading edge of the roll paper. Check the nozzle check pattern and
determine if there are any dots missing when printing.

Change Black Ink
Manual This function is enabled when printing to paper that supports
both matte black and photo black ink.
Select between automatically switching black ink (Auto) or not
automatically switching black ink (Manual) when switching the
type of black ink from the printer driver.
When Auto is selected, the printer automatically switches to the
type of black ink set in the printer driver, even if the type of black
ink set in the printer driver and the printer itself do not match.
A confirmation message is displayed when Manual is selected. If
you choose to continue printing, the printer switches to the type
of black ink specified in the printer driver, and then performs the
printing operation.
When printing to paper that has a specific type of supported black
ink, you cannot set the type of black ink from the printer driver
regardless of this setting. You must set the type of black ink that is
compatible with your paper from the printer's Ink Menu before
