Head Alignment menu (HEAD ALIGNMENT MENU)

This menu allows you to correct any head misalignment to obtain

optimum printing results. For details, see “Performing the head

alignment” on page 24.

You can perform the head alignment using the utility for the paper

supplied by EPSON.

Printing a nozzle check pattern

A nozzle check pattern can be printed to check 6 nozzles for

missing dots.

1. Load paper in your printer as described in Chapter 4, “Using

Roll Paper” or Chapter 4, “Using Cut Sheet Media”.

2. In SelecType mode, press the

SelecType

button until

TEST

PRINT MENU

is displayed on the LCD panel.

3. Press the

Item

button to display

NOZZLE CHECK

4. Press the

Enter

button.

The nozzle check pattern is printed as shown below. After

printing, the printer exits the SelecType mode and returns to

the READY status.
