POST HEATER
OFF Sets the temperature of the heater that dries the
printout. See the instructions that came with your
media to select the correct temperature for the
post heater.
30°C to 50°C
(86 °F to 122 °F)
M/W ADJUSTMENT (MicroWeave adjustment)
LOW A to B Minimizes the affect of the MicroWeave
adjustment. Select LOW B if white lines or uneven
print density is evident in prints using LOW A.
MEDIUM A to D Prints areas between print head passes with a
wave form pattern. Select MEDIUM B, C, or D if
white lines or uneven print density is evident in
prints using MEDIUM A.
HIGH A to D Prints like MEDIUM M/W ADJUSTMENT, but
slower to improve print quality. Select HIGH B, C,
or D if white lines or uneven print density is
evident in prints using HIGH A.
EXTRA HIGH A to B Prints like HIGH M/W ADJUSTMENT, but only on
half of the print head nozzles (EXTRA HIGH A
uses one half and EXTRA HIGH B uses the other
half). Select EXTRA HIGH to improve print quality
over HIGH printing.
PAPER SUCTION
HIGH Adjusts the suction pressure used when feeding
the media. See the instructions that came with
your media to select the correct suction pressure
for it.
LOW
DRYING TIME
0.0sec to 10.0sec Selects a drying time for ink to avoid smearing.
