5. Input the black head VH values. Then the menu for setting color head VH values appears.
6. Input the color head VH values. Then the program returns to the main menu.
❏ The head VH data is written on the each head unit as shown in the following figure.
❏ The setting values are not stored permanently in the EEPROM until you turn the printer off.
Turn off the printer immediately after the adjustments.
7. When the main menu appears, choose “10. Change customer & data / END” by typing 10 and Enter.
8. Choose “END” by typing 7 to exit the adjustment program.
Specific destination parameters, including the destination, interface mode, TOF value, and
economy/condensed, are not written to the EEPROM yet. Turn off the printer immediately after
the adjustments.
9. Turn off the printer.
4.1.1.1 Head VH Indication
This function prints out the VH values for the installed black and color heads stored in the EEPROM. The
values are in HEX, so convert them into the head VH values using a conversion table and input in the printer.
1. Select “7, Head VH indication” by typing 7 and pressing Enter to print out the head VH settings. The
printer prints the head values in four columns, as shown below:
Head VH : X1 X2 X3 X4
X1 and X2 show the VH for the black head; X3 and X4 show the VH for the color head.
