Using the control panel buttons
Follow the steps below to check the print head nozzles using the
control panel buttons.
1. Turn off your printer.
2. Make sure that A4 or Letter size paper is loaded in the sheet
feeder.
Note:
Make sure that paper is not loaded into the front manual feed slot
and the front printer cover is closed before using the Nozzle Check
utility.
3. Hold down the ) paper (➀ in the illustration below) button
and the P power button (➁ in the illustration below) to turn
on the printer.
4. Release only the P power button when the printer turns on.
When the nozzle check starts, release the ) paper button
also.
