Head unit
CAUTION:
To maintain print quality, do not let any objects touch or contact the head nozzle.

Follow the steps below to disassemble the unit.
1. Perform the head exchange sequence using the TM-J8000 Service Utility. See the “Head
exchange sequence” section in Chapter 5.
2. Remove the screw (C.B.P-tite, 3 x 12) from the
Damper sub-unit
. (After you have performed
the head exchange sequence, the head carriage has been unlocked and moved to the left
end.)
