Cartridge frame unit
Follow the steps below to disassemble the unit.
1. Discharge the ink from the TM-J8000 printer. See the “Ink discharging sequence” section in
Chapter 5.
2. Remove the covers so you can access the
Mechanism assembly, M-J8000
. See the “Covers
and upper case” section in this chapter.
3. Remove the connector box and disconnect the
Cartridge frame unit
’s cable. See the
“Connector box” section in this chapter.
4. Unhook the
Cartridge frame unit
’s cable from the two clamps and three tabs.

5. Pull back the ink cartridge lever and remove two C.C.S-tite, 3 x 6 screws and C.B.P-tite, 3 x
12 screw.
