[Description] • Responds to a request from the host computer.

n specifies the requests as follows:

n Request

0 Works the same as when the paper FEED button is pressed once in waiting

status during the operation of the

GS ^

command.

1 Recovers from an error and restarts printing from the line where the error

occurred.

2 Recovers from an error after clearing the receive and print buffers.

[Notes] • Specify n = 1 or 2 after removing the cause of the error.

• If print data includes a character string containing this command, the printer performs the

command. Users must consider this.

For example: Bit image data accidentally might include a data string with this

command.

• Do not embed this command within another command.

For example: Bit image data might include this command.

• This command is ignored when block data is transmitted.

• When the printer recovers from the paper layout error with

DLE ENQ 1

8-2 is off, the automatic paper measurement is done. If the settings for the paper layout are

already stored in the NV memory, these settings are overwritten by the result of the automatic

paper recognition.
