Connecting the Optional External Buzzer
When using the optional external buzzer (OT-BZ20), install the optional external buzzer.
If your printer is not equipped with a buzzer, you can use the optional external buzzer (OT-
BZ20) by connecting it to the drawer.
Unpacking
Open the package and con firm that it contains all of the parts listed in the illustration. If any
parts are missing or damaged, please contact your dealer for assistance.
 The optional external buzzer and the drawer cannot be used together at the same time.
 If you configure the memory switch (customized value) setting to enable the optional
external buzzer, the drawer cannot be opened because the pulse is not sent to the
drawer kick connector pin.
 Make sure to use the accessory magic tape (hook and loop fastener) to attach the
optional external buzzer to the printer.
 Be careful not to spill water, oil, solvent, or any other liquid over the printer. Doing so may
result in malfunction of the printer.
