The procedure for running the self test is the same as when the cut sheet
feeder mode is off.
Before running the self test in the cut sheet feeder mode, be sure that:

The desired bin is selected by
PAPER SELECT
button.
l
The printer is turned off.
l
A stack of paper is inserted.

While holding down
the LINE FEED
button (draft mode) or
FORM
FEED
button (LQ mode), turn on the printer.
The following figure shows part of the printout for the first sheet of
the
draft mode self test. The printout of the second sheet is similar to the
original self test described in Chapter 1.
