Unplug the appliance (if necessary, switch oﬀ the fuse).

Smother the ﬂames with a large pot lid, plate, moist cloth or by using a ﬁre extinguisher.

NEVER EXTINGUISH WITH WATER!

After the ﬁre has been extinguished allow cooking utensils and the appliance to cool

down and ensure that there is a suﬃcient ﬂow of fresh air.
