./ WIRELESS STATUS
Use the Wi-Fi status feature to view the status of your
Wi-Fi Extender’s wireless network.
To view the status:
1. Access the dashboard main page. You can quickly view your
Fios Home Wi-Fi Extender’s wireless status in the Wi-Fi
column.
2. In the
Wi-Fi column for Primary Network and Guest Network,
the following information displays:
•
ON/OFF - displays whether the wireless radio is active.
When the radio is not enabled, no wireless devices will be
able to connect to the home network.
• Wi-Fi Name (SSID) - displays the SSID (Service Set
Identifier) shared among all devices on a wireless
network. The SSID is the network name. All devices must
use the same SSID.
• Wi-Fi Password - displays the Pre-Shared Key of the
Wi-Fi security.
