For connections experiencing lag or a slow response:
• Check for other devices on the network utilizing large portions
of the bandwidth and if possible temporarily stop their current
utilization and recheck the connection.
• If lag still exists, clear the cache on the computer and if still
needed, unplug the Ethernet cable or disable the wireless
connection to the computer experiencing the slow connection
and then reconnect or enable the wireless connection and try
the connection again.
In rare cases you may also need to:
• Unplug the Ethernet cable to Fios Home Wi-Fi Extender and
restart the Fios Home Wi-Fi Extender, wait 1-2 mins. and insert
the Ethernet cable again.
• Under limited circumstances you may use a port forwarding
configuration on the Fios Home Router, based on the application
you are using (refer to Verizon’s support online help for more
details).
