Before using your Ergofix log splitter, first read this manual thoroughly, so that
accidents can be prevented.
1. GENERAL
Having bought the Ergofix log splitter, you have become the owner of a high
quality, reliable machine. Using it properly and maintaining it regularly, the
machine will carry out heavy jobs for years to come. In this operation manual
you will find use and maintenance prescriptions. Before using the log splitter,
read this manual first and be sure that others have read it as well and have
taken the necessary precautions.
This machine has been constructed for splitting wood and is a home use model. It
is designed for operating under ambient temperatures between +5ºC and +40ºC
and for installation at altitudes no more than 1000 m. The surrounding humidity
should be less than 50% at 40ºC. It can be stored or transported under ambient
temperatures between -25ºC and 55ºC.
The appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was specifically
designed. All other uses are to be considered incorrect and therefore
unreasonable. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage
resulting from improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
