8 Power System
The power system of the RBS depends on the choice of power supply and may
include a number of units outside the RBS.
The RBS can be connected either to an AC power supply or to a DC power
supply.
8.1 AC Power
AC power is supplied to the ACCU through one cable for each PSU. If the power
source does not meet the AC power requirements, then filters and stabilizers
must be installed to protect the equipment and ensure proper operation.
There are two ways to connect power to the RBS, as follows:
Single phase, line to neutral
Single phase, line to line
Note: When single phase line to line is used, each supply cable requires two
circuit breakers or fuses.
