7.6.5 Defining ALNA/TMA Parameters
This section describes how to set the ALNA/TMA parameters (if applicable).
The TMA parameters must be set when a TMA is connected and the
characteristics of the TMA are different from the default values in the IDB files in
the OMT. If any parameter is missing, then the default values should be used.
1. In the Configuration menu, select Define and ALNA/TMA.
2. In the Define ALNA/TMA window, select the appropriate TMA and click Run.
3. Set the parameters listed below. See the installation instructions for the
TMA.
Note: TMA Loss = - TMA Gain.
TX Group Delay (in ns)
RX Group Delay (in ns)
Loss (in dB) (TMA Loss = - TMA Gain)
RX Frequency Range (in MHz)
4. Click OK when all parameters are set.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for all TMAs. Close the Define ALNA/TMA window.
7.6.6 Defining Delay
This section describes how to define RX and TX feeder delay.
