In principle, the TANDEM unit works as follows:

•forincoming calls, both telephones will be treated as 1 single extension.

•foroutgoing calls, both telephones will be treated as 2 seperate extensions.

Note: The TANDEM unit is not only applicable with a cordless phone and a wired one, it is also

possible to set up a unit between two wired telephones (e.g.: second telephone for the

executive, second guest room telephone).
