Mute microphone
To mute the microphone during an ongoing conversation:
Press the mute button at the right side of the telephone to
turn the microphone off
The microphone is disconnected and the caller will not hear an
ongoing conversation or environmental noises.
The display shows:
Press again to turn the microphone on
Note: It is advised to use this feature instead of putting a
call on hold. A call on hold may be diverted to your operator,
directly or after some time.
Loudspeaker mode
During a call, you can set the volume of the earpiece to maximum
with pressing just one key. Then use the volume buttons to
increase or decrease the volume to a suitable level.
This function is extremely useful in situations when you need to
follow instructions over the phone while having your Cordless
clipped on.

Press to change to loudspeaker mode
The volume of the earpiece is set to maximum and the microphone
is muted.

Press again to return to normal mode
The volume of the earpiece is set to normal and the microphone is
turned on again.
Muted
