Module grantee (the party responsible for the module grant) shall provide guidance to the host
manufacturerforensuringcompliance withthePart15SubpartBrequirements.
The host manufactureris responsible fo
r additional testing to verify compliance asa composite system.
When testing the host device for compliance with the Part 15 Subpart B requirements, the host
manufacturerisrequiredtoshowcompliancewiththePart15SubpartBwhilethetransmittermodule(s)
areinstalledand operating.Themodulesshouldbetra
nsmittingandtheevaluationshouldconfirm that
themodule’sintentional emissionsarecompliant (i.e. fundamentalandoutofband emissions) withthe
Radio essential requirements. The host manufacturer must verify that there are no additional
unintentionalemissionsotherthanwhatispermittedinthePart15SubpartBoremission
sar
ecomplaint
withtheRadioaspects.
